Exclusive! 'We are very different from each other and that's what makes our relationship exciting'; says Sonalee Kulkarni

, Sonalee Kulkarni is celebrating her six months of

engagement ceremony

with her fiancé

Kunal Benodekar

today.

The couple got engaged on February 2, 2020, much before the lockdown but Sonalee chose to announce on her birthday, i;e May 18.

While speaking exclusively with Etimes, Sonalee Kulkarni said "It has been a very exciting phase in my life. I got engaged with Kunal and then I came back to India. And in March, again I went to Dubai to see Kunal in month's time. Since the lockdown was imposed in India, I have been stuck here. But, I don't mind being stuck in Dubai."

"This is the first time, we are spending so much time together. I think we hardly met each other before engagement. Both of us were in different countries all the time. So, yeah, we never spend so much together and I think this is perfect to know each. Pandemic is an extremist that can happen to a

relationship

. But, I think we have done very well so far" Sonalee added.

When asked, what you love the most about Kunal, Sonalee said "Kunal comes from a very different world. He is very adaptive. I think we very different from each other and that's what makes our relationship exciting. Yeah, I learn a lot of things from him, he is very active. He loves to cook, watch stuff, and loves to play all kind of sports. He is quite open to my field and very supportive. He is a very strong-headed person"

on her Instagram. Sonalee shared an adorable picture with fiancé Kunal Benodekar and captioned it "6 months ago -This was the moment when I said ‘yes’ - quietly, softly with my eyes closing in sweet surrender -I was saying ‘yes’ to my heart, my truth, my deepest desires.
I was saying ‘yes’ to this part of myself for the first time!"
