Desi looks gain Urmila more period films

Actor Urmila Adinath Kothare's desi looks have made her one of the favourite choice of directors for period cinema.
After doing period films like 'Duniyadari' and 'Anvat' in the past, Urmila's latest release 'Kaakan', directed by actor-director Kranti Redkar is also a period love drama.
Redkar, who roped in Urmila for the same reasons, said, "Among the current lot of actresses, Urmila has very non done up, natural Indian looks- be it her hair, features or body language.As period films talk about a bygone era when grooming was basic and not advanced like today, it makes Urmila an ideal choice as then not much work is required on her makeup."
On her part, Urmila said, "Though I am being offered many period films, I choose roles that offer me variety otherwise it can get repetitive."
