Chinmay Mandlekar celebrates '5 years of Farzand'; shares a throwback poster

Prasad Oak, Ankit Mohan, Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni and Mrunmayee Deshpande starrer 'Farzand' helmed by Digpal Lanjekar clocked 5 years today since its successful release in 2018.

To celebrate the milestone, Chinmay Mandlekar took to his Instagram handle and treated fans with a throwback poster of the film.

Talking about the film, 'Farzand' follows the story of warrior Kondaji Farzand [mr], who along with 60 warriors defeated 2500 soldiers of the enemy to win the Panhala fort in just three and a half hours in 1673.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Digpal is gearing up for his upcoming historical epic 'Subhedar' based on 'Subhedar Tanaji Malusare'. The film is slated to release in June 2023.
