Adinath mourns Laxman's death

Legendary cartoonist and a creator of the iconic Common Man, R K Laxman died in Pune on Monday and condolence messages have been flooding the internet ever since.
Celebs from Marathi industry too took to twitter to share their sentiments about the demise of R K Laxman. Adinath expressed saying, "This #RepublicDay the #CommonMan lost his #Face ! Maybe #RKLaxman planned this cartoon strip with God ! RIP #Legend !" (sic). He also posted a caricature of the common man.
Swwapnil Joshi said, "R K LAXMAN. RIP. Humour will never be the same again," (sic). Chinmay Mandlekar wrote on his twitter account, "R.K. Laxman who always made sense in all the nonsense departs. Blissful onward journey sir."
Renowned Illustrator, Humourist R K Laxman passed away due to prolonged illness in Pune at the age of 94. He was best known for his daily cartoon strip, "You Said It" in The Times of India, which started in 1951. The common man creator was honoured with Padma Bhushan, Ramon Magsaysay and Padma Vibhushan.
