Loham :

An action thriller directed by Ranjith, the movie featured Mohanlal, Andrea Jeremiah and Abu Salim in lead roles. Loham told the story of a smuggling operation, and the mysterious disappearance of 100 kg gold that was being smuggled from Dubai to Kerala. The movie was released in over 250 theatres across India and in the United Arab Emirates and UK. Breaking all records, Loham grossed Rs 3.5 crore on its opening day in India, including Rs 2.2 crore from Kerala.

Peruchazhi:

Based on a political satire, the movie was written and directed by the award winning filmmaker Arun Vaidyanathan. Mohanlal, Mukesh, Baburaj, Aju Varghese and Ragini Nandwani played lead roles in the film. Peruchazhi had all the elements of friendship, betrayal, love and revenge with a lot of humor in it to make it a huge success. The movie was released in 500 screens worldwide, making it the largest release for a Malayalam film. Peruchazhi had an opening day collection of Rs 3 crore, creating the highest recorded opening in the year 2014.

Casanovva is a 2012 movie which was directed by Rosshan Andrrews. It featured Mohanlal, Shriya Saran, Lakshmi Rai, Vikramjeet Virk and Roma Asrani. The movie was a huge hit. Casanovva collected Rs 2.10 crore on its first day. Apart from bringing in a lot of money, the film also received several awards.

Bangalore Days is a fun movie about three young cousins who crossover from Kerala to Bangalore to dream, discover and explore. The movie featured Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly, Nithya Menon, Parvathi Menon and Isha Talwar playing the leading roles.The film collected Rs 1.65 crore in its first day. The film's total gross collection was about Rs 38 crore making it the highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time.

A family-drama, directed by Siddique featured Mammootty and Nayantara in the lead roles. The film earned around Rs 1.60 crore on the first day of its release. Bhaskar the Rascal collected Rs 3 crore in two days and went on to collect around Rs 13.77 crore in 19 days.
