Renowned actress Sobhita Dhulipala is well-known to Kerala audiences, having showcased her acting skills in the Nivin Pauly-starrer ‘Moothon’ and the Dulquer Salmaan-led crime drama ‘Kurup’. Earlier, she shared her experience of working with these two talented actors, describing one as a "sweet boy next door" and the other as a "lover boy."
Talking to OTT Play, she shared her time working with Nivin Pauly in ‘Moothon’. Sobhita described him as the quintessential "sweet boy next door."
Sobhita remarked, “Nivin has always been seen as the sweet boy next door. For my first experience with him to be in a movie like ‘Moothon’ was astonishing. Then, watching the rest of his filmography made me appreciate the depth of his talent even more.” Sobhita further elaborated on how Nivin’s performance in ‘Moothon’ surprised her, revealing layers of his acting ability that went beyond his initial image.
When discussing her experience with Dulquer Salmaan, Sobhita noted his reputation as a "lover boy," a label often associated with his charming on-screen roles. However, she expressed her admiration for Dulquer’s versatility, saying, “He is known more for his lover boy-type roles, but I have seen him in serious performances like ‘Kammattipadam’ and ‘Parava’. I enjoy watching him take on roles that are different from what he has done before.” Sobhita emphasized how fortunate she feels to be part of projects that encourage actors to step out of their comfort zones and try something new.
In ‘Moothon’, Sobhita portrayed the character of Rosy in an intense drama directed by Geethu Mohandas, while in ‘Kurup’, she played Sharadamma in the crime drama led by Dulquer Salmaan.
On the other hand, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya have made headlines on this day as they got engaged on August 8 morning at 9:42 am.
