#Whatif ‘Troy’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my travel partners.‘Troy’, a violent, yet watered-down version of the renowned poem ‘Iliad’ is one of the classic films in Hollywood that brought out a different kind of acting style from the stylish actor Brad Pitt. Today let's enter the realm of ‘Troy’ and look into the possibilities of Whatif the film was made in Mollywood. Over to Simon.

#Simon Says, “Troy is one of the overlooked epic drama movies directed by Wolfgang Petersen. There are several scenes in the movie that still give me goosebumps even after multiple viewings. Today I am a bit excited to explore the realm of the Brad Pitt starrer and kindly pass me the tickets as ETimes presents the 28th episode of #Whatif ‘Troy’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: Achilles as Prithviraj Sukumaran

#Simon Says, “Achilles, the mighty warrior who stops at nothing until he achieves what he wants, was played flawlessly by the actor Brad Pitt. Coming to the Mollywood remake, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who has also played a similar character in Santosh Sivan’s ‘Urumi’ could be the perfect fit to play Achilles in the remake.”

Possibility 2: Hector as Tovino Thomas

#Simon Says, “Hector is one of the characters in the movie history who faces a depressing death during the halftime of ‘Troy’. There is a perfect character buildup for Hector in the film that is sure to unveil the acting potential of an actor. In the Mollywood remake of ‘Troy’, Tovino Thomas is a perfect option to play Hector.”

Possibility 3: Paris as Dulquer Salmaan

#Simon Says, “You can love or hate the character Paris in ‘Troy’, but one can never forget his true love for Helen of Sparta and the actor Orlando Bloom played the character flawlessly in the film. Coming to the Mollywood remake, Dulquer Salmaan will be apt to play Paris.”

Possibility 4: Helen of Sparta as Kalyani Priyadarshan

#Simon Says, “Hollywood actor Diana Kruger played Helen of Sparta in ‘Troy’, who is the romantic interest character of Paris. Diana Kruger gave an exhilarating performance in the film and in the Mollywood remake of ‘Troy’, the young and talented actress Kalyani Priyadarshan could perfectly reprise the role and also the character would be something she hasn't tried before.”

Possibility 5: Agamemnon as Joy Mathew

#Simon Says, “ Agamemnon, the most hated character in cinema history and is one of the best characters in the epic drama ‘Troy’. In the Mollywood remake of the film, the versatile actor Joy Mathew can reprise the character Agamemnon and it's beyond doubt that he can ace the character by looking at his performance in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Amen.”

#Simon Says, “So we have successfully traveled into the realm of ‘Troy’ and looked into many of the possibilities that can happen if the film gets a Mollywood remake. A director like Jayaraj, who is known for executing drama films based on popular classic novels like Hamlet, and Othello could do justice if he dons the director's cap for the Mollywood remake. Hope you all liked today’s episode and we will be back next week with yet another exciting episode of #Whatif.”
