#Whatif ‘Mad Max’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my all-seeing travel partners. Who doesn't love a full-on action entertainer? There is always a sense of refreshment that such films give to the audience. Today let's ponder into the realm of the Hollywood action blockbuster film ‘Mad Max’ and look into its possibilities of being remade in Mollywood. Sorry, I don't have the ticket to the realm as your travel guide Simon grabbed it from me out of excitement. Over to Simon.”

#Simon Says, “ Guys I was waiting for you. Today I am a bit thrilled as we will be exploring the action thriller ‘Mad Max’ and you know how much I love such genres. Our ride is going to be a little bumpy today and I prefer you guys to wear your safety helmets. Tighten your seat belts as ETimes presents the 22nd episode of ‘#Whatif ‘Mad Max’ was made in Mollywood’.

Possibility 1: Max Rockatansky as Prithviraj Sukumaran

#Simon Says, “ Max Rockatansky, the protagonist in the Hollywood film ‘Mad Max’ was played by the protean actor Tom Hardy and needless to say that he breathed life into the character flawlessly. Coming to the Malayalam remake of the film ‘Mad Max’, there is no other best option than Prithviraj Sukumaran to essay the character Max Rockatansky.”

Possibility 2: Imperator Furiosa as Mamta Mohandas

#Simon Says, “Imperator Furiosa is a bold female character who plays a prominent lead in the film and the character was essayed by the well-known Hollywood actress Charlize Theron. The Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas could be perfectly apt to reprise the role of Imperator Furiosa in the Mollywood remake of ‘Mad Max. Mamta was chosen because of her ability to flawlessly take up bold roles that make a good impact on the audience. The Suresh Gopi starrer ‘Lanka’ is one of the examples of this.”

Possibility 3: Nux as Fahadh Faasil

#Simon Says, “ Nux character in ‘Mad Max’ is kind of a weird yet lovable character and has a perfect character design to him. If we are to choose someone from the Malayalam film industry to reprise the character, then surely the versatile actor Fahadh Faasil would be the perfect option. With a little amount of crookedness and weirdness, Fahadh Faasil could flawlessly play Nux in the Mollywood remake of ‘Mad Max’.”

Possibility 4: Immortan Joe as Shivajith Padmanabhan

#Simon Says, “ This is the most difficult choice, as the antagonist character Immortan Joe is one of the most iconic villain characters and was played by the late Hollywood actor Hugh Keays Byrne. The Tovino starrer ‘Kalki’ fame Shivajith Padmanabhan will be perfect to play the antagonist character in the Mollywood remake of ‘Mad Max’ both in look and attitude-wise.”

Possibility 5: Written by MT Vasudevan Nair

#Simon Says, “ The script is literally the backbone of any film no matter how much budget is invested on it. In order to remake an epic film like ‘Mad Max’ in Mollywood, the script should have some Kerala touch to it. The renowned writer MT Vasudevan Nair who is a master at handling epic drama films with a slight touch of mythology could be the perfect person to write the script and dialogues for ‘Mad Max’.”

#Simon Says,” So guys that's it. We have traveled through the riskiest realm of ‘Mad Max’ and looked into most of the possibilities of the film being remade in Mollywood. With the veteran writer MT Vasudevan Nair on board, it's sure that the ‘Mad Max’ remake would work wonders in the Malayalam film industry. Hope you all liked today’s episode. Let's meet next week with yet another interesting episode of ‘#Whatif’. Till then bye.
