#Whatif ‘Avatar’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my travel buddies. While visiting earth I happened to see that the classic movie ‘Avatar’ is getting re-released in several theatres and I was in awe seeing how thrilled the movie buffs were to watch the movie that was released at least 12 years back. Today I have taken a ticket to the world of ‘Avatar’ and hope you will be having a fun ride today.

About Simon: Your travel guide Simon knows his way into several cinematic universes and holds the key to opening up every possibility of What if a movie is remade in Malayalam. Over to Simon.

#Simon Says, “I always felt that not traveling into the world of ‘Avatar’ for all this time was always an injustice to the world cinema itself. Finally, I am happy that we are entering the world of ‘Avatar’ today. Pack your bags as ETimes presents the 47th episode #Whatif ‘Avatar’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: Jake Sully as Prithviraj Sukumaran

#Simon says, “one can definitely count on the Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran for such massive budget films that have a Hollywood style in it. Jake Sully, who is a paraplegic, is the lead character in ‘Avatar’ played by the Hollywood actor Sam Worthington. Prithviraj Sukumaran could be the perfect option to play Jake sully in the Mollywood remake of ‘Avatar’.”

Possibility 2: Neythiri as Shaun Romy

#Simon says, “Mollywood actress Shaun Romy is definitely one of the promising actors in the film industry and she also holds a good fan base among the audience for her roles in ‘Kammatti Paadam’ and ‘Hridayam’. The actress definitely has a Hollywood style to her acting style and looks and would be perfect to play Neythiri in the Mollywood remake of ‘Avatar’”

Possibility 3: Pandora aka Pandavapuram

#Simon says, “There should be a complete change in the names of clans and places in the Mollywood remake of ‘Avatar’ and for a start lets rename ‘Pandora’ and ‘Pandavapuram’. This name could even add a sense of epicness to the Mollywood remake.”

Possibility 4: Colonel Quaritch as Rawther

#Simon says, “Instead of replacing the actors now let's switch the character Rawther from the Malayalam movie ‘Vietnam Colony’ with the villain character Colonel Quaritch in ‘Avatar’. Both the characters create a sense of fear among the audience. Fun fact is that the Malayalam movie ‘Vietnam Colony’ has a similar storyline with James Cameroon’s ‘Avatar’.”

Possibility 5: Parker Selfridge as Adv Thomas

#Simon says, “Lets take another character Advocate Thomas from the Mohanlal starrer ‘Vietnam Colony’ and make him play the role of the villain character Parker Selfridge who prepares the evil masterplan to destroy Pandora. Both characters has similar vibes as they are both cunning and would go to any extend to achieve their evil goals.”

#Simon says, “So today we have successfully travelled the world of Pandora aka Pandavapuram and have looked into most of the possibilities on #Whatif ‘Avatar’ was made in Malayalam. Although with the current budget constraints, the making of such a movie in Malayalam is not possible, there are high chances that Mollywood will deliver a movie that is on par with ‘Avatar’ in future. With all that being said, let's meet next week with yet another interesting episode of #Whatif. Till then bye.”
