We used real sounds from the forest for Kaadu Pookkunna Neram: Dr Biju

Dr Biju's Kaadu Pookkunna Neram won this year's National Award for Best Film Designing. The award went to Jayadevan Chakkadath, sound designer of the movie. The elated director tells us, "We were able to perfect the sounds for the movie and create an atmosphere of the forest. The sounds of the forest were recorded on the location and even the minutest sounds of wind and water came through.
Ask him whether he is unhappy with the film not winning in other categories and he says, "Not at all, I respect the jury's decision."
