‘Vaazha 2’ announced! Director Vipin Das teases an exciting sequel

Following the success of the comedy-drama ‘Vaazha’, the film's makers have officially announced a sequel titled ‘Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros’. Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the original movie has been well-received by audiences, particularly younger viewers, thanks to its engaging storyline and the inclusion of popular social media influencers in the cast.

The announcement was made by ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ director Vipin Das, who took to social media to unveil a new caricature-style poster for the upcoming sequel. In his post, Vipin Das expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support the first film received and revealed his excitement about continuing the story with a new cast of fresh talents. He wrote, “Thank you all for the overwhelming support for Vaazha. Your response has truly inspired me to move forward with fresh talents again. We are thrilled to announce the launch of Vaazha II: The Biopic of a Billion Bros.!”



Vipin Das also introduced the film's core team, highlighting the contributions of debut director Savin SA and cinematographer Akhil Lailasuran.

The announcement of ‘Vaazha 2’ comes on the heels of the first film's impressive box office performance.

According to reports from the Sacnilk website, 'Vaazha' has collected Rs 9.65 crore in net collections within India after just six days of release. The film had a strong start, earning Rs 7.90 crore in its first five days and adding another Rs 1.75 crore on its sixth day.
