‘Turbo’ box office collections soar: Mammootty's action-packed film earns Rs 27.7 crore in 10 days

Mammootty's latest action drama, 'Turbo,' continues to demonstrate its box office prowess, collecting a substantial Rs 27.7 crore in its first ten days of release. Despite not reaching the magnificent heights of some of the superstar's recent hits, 'Turbo' is proving to be a strong performer in theatres.

Directed by Vysakh, the film features an impressive ensemble cast including Mammootty, Sunil Varma, Anjana Jayaprakash, Kabir Duhan Singh, and Raj B Shetty. Known for his action-packed roles, Mammootty delivers yet another captivating performance as Turbo Jose.

According to Sacnilk, 'Turbo' performed admirably during its initial nine days, raking in an estimated Rs 26.30 crores India net. The tenth day saw the film add another Rs 1.40 crore to its tally, bringing the total India net collection to Rs 27.70 crore. The film's global appeal is evident with a worldwide collection of Rs 61.20 crore, which includes an impressive Rs 29.00 crores from overseas markets. Domestically, the film's gross collection stands at Rs 32.20 crore.

'Turbo' showcased varied occupancy rates across different times of the day on Saturday, June 1, 2024, achieving an overall Malayalam occupancy of 30.01%. Morning shows reported a 12.60% occupancy, which significantly increased to 24.15% in the afternoon. Evening shows saw a further rise to 30.22%, culminating in an impressive 53.05% occupancy for the night shows.
