has grabbed headlines, as Tamil star Dhanush had announced that he will bankroll the project.

Tovino shared the second poster of the movie, and penned down a detailed note, “The second poster of Tharangam! Tharangam is a crime comedy featuring characters with black, white, grey, green, yellow... heck, every shade under the sun!
The shoot is complete, and the film is in the post production stage at the moment.Along with me the film features an ensemble cast including Balu Varghese, Dileesh Pothan, Manoj K Jayan, Alencier Ley Lopez and Shammi Thilakan.
Aside from these well-known faces, we are proud to introduce plenty of fresh talent -- both actors and technicians -- through #Tharangam. Keep an eye out for character posters which will be released in the following weeks! (sic).”

The film, directed by Dominic Arun of Mrithyumjayam fame, is touted to be a dark comedy, and will have him essay the role of S I Padmanatahn Pillai, a suspended cop.
