Suresh Gopi has been making headlines lately for his films. The superstar had a release on July 29 titled 'Paappan', and the film is running successfully in the cinemas. Following the release of the film, Suresh Gopi started work on his next - 'Mei Hoon Moosa'. Suresh Gopi started dubbing for the film, and the makers also launched the first look poster of the film.

Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Kaduva’ which had hit the cinemas earlier in July 2022, has crossed Rs. 50 crores in the worldwide box office. The film had bagged Rs. 15 crores in three days of its release, and even before completing the fourth week, the makers managed to enter the Rs. 50 crore club.

Iconic filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan has criticized the National Film Awards jury. The legendary filmmaker was displeased by the talents and films selected for the awards this year. Adoor Gopalakrishnan criticized the jury, referring to them as 'Bollywood fans'.

The 52nd edition of the Kerala State Film Awards ceremony was decided to be held on August 3rd, at the Nishagandhi auditorium in Thiruvananthapuram. In the wake of the heavy rainfall, the award ceremony was postponed, however, the revised date is yet to be announced.
