Mohanlal and Shaji Kailas are joining hands for an upcoming film, after a break of 12 years. The team kickstarted the shoot this week. Shaji Kailas and producer Antony Perumbavoor were present at the puja function. Mohanlal is currently working on ‘12th Man’ directed by Jeethu Joseph, and after wrapping up his portions, he will join Shaji Kailas’ sets.

Aishwarya Lekshmi will play the role of a 28-year-old school teacher, who is actively searching for a match. The teaser grabbed the attention of the cinephiles and they are eagerly waiting for the release. Meanwhile, ‘Archana 31 Not Out’ is helmed by debutant Akhil Anilkumar.

After receiving warm reviews for ‘Sunny’, Jayasurya is all set to step into his next. The star has signed a fantasy horror film ‘Kathanar - The Wild Sorcerer’ and the pre-production works of the film are progressing. The fantasy period drama is helmed by Rojin Thomas and is based on the Kathanar, a priest, who according to the legend possesses supernatural powers. The film will be shot using virtual production techniques and the works are underway.
