Lal Jose's next film, will see Joju George in the lead role. The ace director’s untitled project went on floors recently and it will feature some of the ‘Nayika Nayakan’ finalists Vincy Alocious, Darshana, Shambu, and Addis. The film is scripted by PG Prageesh and tells the story of two women civil police officers.

Nayanthara turns 37
Superstar Nayanthara turned 37 this week. The actress celebrated her birthday in Chennai with her fiancé Vignesh Shivan. Samantha was also present at the birthday celebration. From chocolate cakes to fireworks, Nayanthara celebrated her birthday with all its glory. Social media was flooded with wishes for the actress.

The state government offers medical assistance to KPAC Lalitha
Veteran actress KPAC Lalitha has been admitted to a hospital for over a week now and is undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments. The state cabinet decided that the government will give medical assistance to her. In a meeting held on Wednesday, the state cabinet has decided to bear the medical expenses of KPAC Lalitha.

26th IFFK postponed
The 26th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) has been pushed to February. The 8-day film festival will be held this year from February 4, 2022 . The festival is usually held in the month of December every year, however, the government has decided to postpone it owing to the pandemic.

'Hridayam' teaser
The first teaser of ‘Hridayam’ was launched this week. The teaser featured the lead characters - Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Darshana Rajendran. The teaser suggests that Pranav and Kalyani might be seen as a married couple in the film, while Darshana is the former’s ex-lover from college. Pranav’s performance in the teaser grabbed headlines for all the right reasons.
