‘Thalavan’ box office collections day 17: Biju Menon’s investigative thriller collects Rs 13.05 crores

Biju Menon and Asif Ali’s latest investigative thriller, ‘Thalavan’, has continued to captivate audiences, crossing Rs 13 crores at the Indian box office in just 17 days.


According to data from the Sacnilk website, the film performed exceptionally well during its initial 16 days, collecting an estimated Rs 12.40 crores India net. On its 17th day, ‘Thalavan’ added approximately 65 lakhs to its total, bringing its India net collection to Rs 13.05 crores.

The film's success isn't limited to the domestic market. ‘Thalavan’ has also made significant strides internationally, with a total worldwide collection of Rs 20.25 crores. Of this, Rs 5.25 crores have come from overseas markets, showcasing the global appeal of the film. The India gross collection for the movie now stands at Rs 15.00 crores.

On Sunday, June 9, 2024, the film had an overall Malayalam occupancy rate of 32.18%. Breaking it down, the morning shows had a 21.51% occupancy, afternoon shows saw a 34.51% turnout, evening shows had a peak of 41.82%, and night shows maintained a solid 30.88% occupancy.
