Swapaanam to release on January 24

Jayaram’s much hyped movie Swaapanam will hit the big-screens on January 24. The post shooting schedules are taking place at brisk progress and the filmmakers are happy on the way it is shaping up. The film, which is helmed by the national award winner Shaji N Karun, was premiered at Mall of the Emirates during the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
Swapaanam, which features Bengali actress Kadambari, is all set to shed light on the work of chenda artistes in the state and how their work is often recognised by the society.Reportedly, the movie evolves through a thread between a chenda player and a Mohiniyattam dancer.
