Revathy heads to Bollywood
The actress will star in Shonali Bose’s film with Kalki Koechlin in the lead
Actor-director Revathy had earlier announced that she had started scripting her next directorial in Hindi. Recently, there were also reports that she will direct her next movie, Margarita with a Straw, with Kalki Koechlin in the lead. However, Revathy clarifies that it is not true. “The news is wrong. I’m not directing the film, but I’m acting in it. Shonali Bose is the director,” she says.
Revathy’s Mitr, My Friend and Phir Milenge had received rave reviews at the box office. Mitr, My Friend even went on to bag the National Award for the best feature film in English. After a hiatus, she did a full-fledged role in Mollywood in Molly Aunty Rockslast year, which was well received by the audience.
