The Academy Award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty's 'The Sound Story' is all set to hit the theatres on 5th April. Recently the first look poster of the movie was released by Dulquer Salmaan. The movie is claimed to be the largest archive of sound. The movie in which Resul Pookutty himself stars is the story of one man, who tries to capture the sound of 7 lakh audience, 100 elephants, 500 artists, spread across 64 acres of space, with 164 tracks in

. The film had its first Indian premiere in Chennai International Film festival and is claimed as the greatest archival of sound in the nation.

festival held at

Vadakkunnathan Temple

Thrissur

every year. The film has documented the 1133-year-old tradition of Sound. "Watch this movie with your eyes closed," commented the team. The 100 minutes movie is also for the visually impaired people. The interesting fact is that even though the sound designer has his roots back in Kerala, this is the first time he was attending Thrissur Pooram. The dream project of sound designer Resul Pookutty is written and directed by Prasad Prabhakar. Rajeev Panakal is bankrolling the project. Resul Pookutty himself will handle the sound designing and mixing. The movie will hit the theatres on April 5 in
