Ranjini Jose shares a major fangirl moment with AR Rahman
Singer Ranjini Jose is over the moon, as she met AR Rahman, and also had the opportunity to converse with him. Music maestro AR Rahman recently landed in Kochi for the promotional event of his upcoming film ‘Aadujeevitham’ directed by Blessy, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Ranjini Jose took to her social media handle to her fangirl moment with AR Rahman. She also wrote a heartfelt note that reads, “Don’t know how to caption this like I always say when I’m overwhelmed.

But one thing I’d like to say for sure is that dreams do come true. As singers, we get to sing for composers and if we’re lucky, with legends like Rahman sir. But to have a conversation with him for an hour was nothing less than pure ecstasy for me. Sir answered in depth into questions that sprung in my mind. About various topics regarding music, the podium of indie music in the country now and about everything starting from the details of his recent movie with Blessy sir, Aadujeevitham, to his home and his daughter. Me being a little careful about my questions (as this ain’t my job 😅), I felt so much at ease as soon as we started speaking and it was just pure happiness to be talking to a person who has so much child like energy in him as well as his sincerity and humility which reflected in the way he spoke and behaved. I’m bowled over!”
Her note further reads, “Thank you sir, for your time and I hope you stay blessed and keep making waves around the world as you always do. And as we wrapped up he said, ‘Thank you Ranjini, and keep making independent music’. And I couldn’t want to hear anything more. Thank you for this day and to the people who opted me for this opportunity. Deets coming up soon. Stay tuned.”
