Rambaan: Everything you should know about Mohanlal - Joshiy’s action drama

After a long gap, the duo Mohanlal and Joshiy, who have delivered several superhit films such as ‘Naran’, ‘Run Baby Run’, and many others, are teaming up for the upcoming film ‘Rambaan’. For all the right reasons, ‘Rambaan’ has the capability to generate much more hype than Mohanlal’s most anticipated film, ‘L2: Empuraan', and here let’s take a look at everything you should know about Mohanlal and Joshiy’s upcoming venture, 'Rambaan'.

One can surely point in the direction of Mohanlal and Joshiy if he or she is searching for a perfect definition for a hit-making director-actor duo. Supporting this fact are several superhit films such as ‘Naduvazhikal’, ‘No. 20 Madras Mail’, ‘Naran’, ‘Run Baby Run', and many more. Joshiy clearly knows how to present the legendary actor Mohanlal on-screen, and ‘Rambaan’ is expected to mint huge numbers at the box office, satisfying the fans of the actor.

Along with the praise that Chemban Vinod Jose is getting as an actor, he also shines in the writing department. Many of the critically acclaimed films, such as ‘Angamaly Diaries' and ‘Bheemante Vazhi', were penned by this talented artist. Having Chemban Vinod Jose on board as a writer for ‘Rambaan’, adds to the quality of this Mohanlal starrer.

During the announcement event for ‘Rambaan’, Mohanlal said that the movie will be a 100 percent action entertainer and is set in Kerala and the US. ‘Rambaan’ will also be mounted on a large-scale canvas. The title reveal poster featured Mohanlal’s character standing on the top of a vintage car, holding a hammer and gun in both hands, hinting at a power-packed action flick.

One main reason why ‘Rambaan’ could top the hype for ‘L2: Empuraan’ is surely due to its stellar technical crew. Keeping the talented Mohanlal, Joshiy, and Chemban Vinod Jose aside, ‘Rambaan’ has a magnificent technical team. Cinematography will be handled by Sameer Thahir (‘Minnal Murali’, ‘Chaappa Kurishu’), editing is by Vivek Harshan, who is best known for the films ‘Kurup’, ‘Mahaan’, and ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, music by Vishnu Vijay, known for ‘Ambili’, and ‘Thallumaala’, and the costumes are by the ‘Romancham’ fame Mashar Hamsa.
