‘Raayan’ Kerala box office collections day 3: Dhanush starrer mints Rs 2.9 crores

Dhanush's recently released action drama movie ‘Raayan’ is performing well at the box office. According to the latest reports, the film has collected Rs 2.9 crores from the Kerala Box Office (KBO) in just three days.

According to OTT Play, the domestic (all-India) collection of the action drama, which features Dhanush in the titular role, has reportedly crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark. Trade experts suggest that the movie has collected over Rs. 2.9 crores from Kerala, Rs. 7.5 crores from the Telugu states, and around Rs. 5.6 crores from Karnataka so far. The movie's day-wise collections from Kerala include Rs. 1.03 crores on day 1 and Rs. 90 lakhs on day 2.

‘Raayan’ is an action crime film written and directed by Dhanush in his second directorial venture. The film follows the story of Kathavaraayan "Raayan," a fast-food hotel owner in North Chennai, who hunts down the gangs that had ruined his family in the past.

Dhanush leads an ensemble cast in ‘Raayan,’ which includes notable actors such as S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Saravanan.
