Movie producer and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s wife Supriya Menon often shares glimpses of her her life on social media. Recently she dropped a video of her riding a scooter, which was also her first after many years. She shared the video and recounted her memories of riding a bike for the first time when she was in 9th grade. She further reminisced about her dad’s penchant for bikes.
“I learnt how to ride a bike/ two wheeler for the first time when I was in 9th std. My neighbour uncle taught me how to ride his RX 100 much to the horror of my parents! My dad has always been a big bike fan! He used to own a Java and a Rajdhoot in his bachelor days. My mom and he had a famous fall immediately after marriage when he took her for a movie! Even though daddy was super protective of me he bought me a scooter to go to college and I loved riding on it!” Supriya Menon wrote in her note.
She further spoke about enjoying the little things in life, and added, “Today after decades I rode a scooter once again and I felt like that old Supriya, with the maturity of age and not so much the arrogance of youth( although I know many Malayalees who may think otherwise about me) Here’s to finding the small joys in life and to finding ourselves and loving ourselves in whatever shape or form! PS- excuse my poor editing skills! Also riding inside a private estate so don’t come at me about a helmet.”
