Prithviraj reveals his friendship with Dulquer and Fahadh Faasil, says “We are all nepo kids”

Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran sheds light on his longstanding friendship with fellow actors Dulquer Salmaan and Fahadh Faasil, revealing their shared bond as 'nepo kids' rooted in their fathers' connections in the Malayalam film industry.

The actor revealed that while their fathers maintained a friendship, Prithviraj, Dulquer, and Fahadh truly bonded during the lockdown in March 2020.


In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Prithviraj shared insights into their upbringing, stating, "Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, and I reside in close proximity to each other in Kochi. We are all 'nepo kids' so our fathers used to know each other." Prithviraj fondly reminisced about the legendary Mammootty, Dulquer's father, his own late father, and Fazil sir, Fahadh's father, an iconic director in South Indian cinema, highlighting the interconnectedness of their families.

Despite their familial ties, Prithviraj emphasized that their genuine friendship blossomed over time.

Prithviraj's upcoming project, 'The Goat Life,' adds another layer to his illustrious career. Inspired by a true story, the film follows the journey of Najeeb, a young man who migrates from Kerala to seek his fortunes abroad in the early 90s. Scheduled for release on March 28, the film promises to captivate audiences with its emotional narrative and Blessy's creative vision.
