Nikki Galrani learns Kalari for her next film

It’s not just in M— Town that Nikki Galrani is experimenting with roles.
The actress from Bengaluru seems to be receiving a good number of challenging characters in other industries too. Her next in Kollywood will be directed by renowned filmmaker Ezhil, in which Vishnu Vishal is cast as the male lead. Interestingly, Nikki plays a cop in the movie and is also all set to train in Kalari and martial arts, as she will have to shoot a few fight sequences in the film!
Says Nikki, “I am quite excited as it is going to be a completely novel experience for me as I have hardly any experience in this sphere, except for briefly trying out kick-boxing for weight reduction.I will have to fight like a man in a few sequences and so I have Kalari classes scheduled in Kerala.”
So, is she going to be a tough cop or a funny one? Without divulging much, the actress says, “That you will have to wait and watch! But I can assure you that it is going to be a hilarious movie.”
The untitled movie is expected to start rolling on September 17, around Vinayaka Chathurthi.
