'My Great Grandfather' review highlights: A tale of friendship

My Great Grandfather

revolves around the friendship, love and family bonds in his life. His character named Micheal is on the quest to find love, as the first half of the film comes to a halt.

The lead actor, who appears in a macho look, seems to have done his best to keep us entertained. However, except for the parts in which actors Ramesh Pisharody and Dharmajan make an appearance, there is hardly anything to keep us glued to the seats. On and off, slapstick jokes make appearances without triggering much interest. Baburaj and Salim Kumar also play major roles in the film, which is 149 minutes in length.

In the second half, we might see whether Micheal is in for a surprise or not, but will it also have something to pleasantly surprise the audience? Watch this space.
