Actor Abi, who is popularly known as a mimicry artist, carved a niche for himself among Malayalis. His sudden death on November 30 has come as a shocking news to one and all. Though the reason for his illness was not known to many, it is reported that he was not keeping well for a while now and was undergoing treatment with the blood platelets’ count coming down.
When it comes to mimicry, Abi was one of the first few names that came to mind. Dubbing for actor Amitabh Bachchan’s voice in Malayalam advertisements was considered his feat. He has acted in more than 50 films.

Shane Nigam, who made his debut with the film Kismath, has soon managed to become one of the promising young actors in Mollywood.
Abi breathed his last at a private hospital in Kochi. He died at the age of 50.
