’s upcoming film ‘
Vellari Pattanam
’. The makers have now launched a teaser from the film featuring the duo and it is sure to crack you up. Judging by the teaser, Manju Warrier and Soubin Shahir are playing the roles of siblings in the film. In the teaser, Manju Warrier is seen learning some basic Hindi grammar lessons. It is almost night, Manju Warrier is seen relaxing on a chair on the
veranda and Soubin Shahir arrives. He is exhausted after sticking posters, apparently for the upliftment of the society! The teaser is absolutely worth watching and you mustn’t miss it.

Directed by Mahesh Vettiyaar ‘Vellari Pattanam’ is co-scripted by Sarathkrishna and Mahesh Vettiyaar. Alex J Pulickal is the cinematographer for the film, while the editing is done by Appu N Bhattathiri. The music for ‘Vellari Pattanam’ is done by Sachin Shankar Mannath, and the lyrics are penned by Madhu Vasudevan, and Vinayak Sasikumar.
Meanwhile, the film was previously titled ‘Vellarikka Pattanam’, however, the makers of the Manju Warrier starrer had to change it, as another movie directed by Maneesh Kurup was censored under the name. The title of Manju Warrier and Soubin Shahir starrer was later changed to ‘Vellari Pattanam’.
