Mammootty and Mohanlal to clash this X'mas too

has gone on to break several records in the box office leaving Mammootty's

far behind.

However, it seems that round 2 of the fight this year is already scheduled for Christmas. Mohanlal's Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol and Mammootty's The Great Father are rumoured to hit theatres on Dec 23.

Mohanlal's film is a family entertainer, helmed by Jibu Jacob, while Mammootty's is a thriller cum drama directed by debutant Haneef Adeni.
