Lal to join Mani Ratnam film in February 2020

We had earlier reported that Malayalam actor-director Lal is in talks to star in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie based on the Tamil period novel Ponniyin Selvan.
Sources close to the actor now confirms that Lal is indeed part of the movie, which also has actors such as Vikram, Karthi, Jayaram, Amala Paul and Keerthy Suresh. “Lal’s portions in the movie will be shot in February 2020.He also has other Tamil projects lined up, one with Karthi and another with Dhanush,” says the source.
Lal’s next release in Malayalam is Helen, which is directed by Mathukutty Xavier and has Anna Ben playing the titular role.
