Popular filmmaker Lal Jose has jetted off to

Dubai

to film for his next. Actor Soubin Shahir, who has been roped in to play the lead character, was spotted travelling to Dubai with the director on Monday (December 14).

The upcoming film is scripted by Iqbal Kuttipuram, who previously worked with Lal Jose in his directorials ‘Arabikkatha’ and ‘Diamond Necklace’.

Lal Jose took to his social media handle to announce the commencement of his next film. The filmmaker said that he is back in Arabia and this time he is accompanied by

, Salim Kumar, Mamta Mohandas,

Harishree Ashokan

, and a few other actors. The team kickstarted the shoot with an auspicious puja function and the filmmaker shared that he will be announcing other details later.

The yet-to-be-titled film revolves around a couple - Dasthgeer and Sulekha, which will be apparently played by Soubin Shahir and Mamta Mohandas. The Aluva based couple who has a vibrant college life jets off to Dubai and settles there. The film will talk about the couple’s life along with their three children. The film will be extensively shot in Dubai. Justin Varghese of ‘Thanneermathan Dinangal’ fame will be handling the music department.
