Kanyaka Talkies will croon Anitha’s verses

The upcoming movie Kanyaka Talkies, which recently made headlines for being selected to the Mumbai International Film Festival will present a female lyricist to Mollywood.
Anitha Thampi, the poet who has quite a few poems and publications to her credit will pen the songs for the film, directed by K R Manoj. Muttamadikkumbol, published in 2004 is the first collection of poems of the Thiruvananthapuram born poet.In 2007, she had published the Malayalam translations of Australian poet Les Murray and another poetry collection in 2010, titled Azhakillathavayellam.
