All bets on the director

Shaji Kailas, the director whose name is mostly associated with several commercially successful films such as ‘The King’, ‘Valliettan’, and ‘Narasimham’ was on the down phase of his career for the past few years as he attempted a few other genres that were not something that the audience expected from such a Mastercraft filmmaker. Now with ‘Kaduva’, Shaji Kailas is all set to explore the action thriller genre that he always aced at. From the teasers and posters released, it can be expected that Shaji Kailas won’t be disappointing the audience this time.

Much-needed action entertainer

One can say that the Malayalam film industry is stacked with several content-oriented films, but with the coming of other language action-thriller movies such as ‘RRR’, ‘KGF’, and ‘Vikram’, the Malayali audience is demanding a full-on action-packed entertainer. From the posters and teasers released for ‘Kaduva’, it can be expected that the Shaji Kailas - Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer will feed the exact fodder to the audience.
