Actor-director Joy Mathew’s son, Mathew Joy Mathew, got his first character role in Philips and the Monkey Pen, a film centred around the lives of a few children. “I play a school radio jockey, who dishes out advice to younger children,” says Mathew, who is a visual media student.
And no, this is not Mathew’s first tryst with cinema. He has played cameos in Cobra and Bavoottiyude Namathil, both of which saw him playing Mammotty’s childhood.
