Jayaram and Shweta Menon in a political satire !

Jayaram seems to be a busy man now with back-to-back projects with reputed directors and hit makers of both Mollywood and Kollywood. The latest we hear is that the actor has been signed in for a Kollywood project Thunai Mudhalvar, helmed by R Vivekanandhar and scripted by veteran director, actor and writer K Bhagyaraj.
Touted to be a political satire, the film will also see Mollywood actress Shweta Menon donning a prominent role in it, thus making it the first film where the duo share screen space.Jayaram confirmed the news, and says: “The film is set against the backdrop of a rustic village; I and Bhagyaraj play the role of friends-cum-good samaritans. When the Chief Minister of the state comes to know about their deeds, he decides to make one of them the Deputy Chief Minister.”
However the actor adds that the movie has nothing to do with the current political scenario of Kerala.“It is like any other feel-good Bhagyaraj movie, peppered with socially relevant messages. I can’t divulge the details now, all I can say is that it will be a light-hearted entertainer,” says the excited actor.
