It’s Indrajith and Rima in Dr Biju’s next

Dr Biju’s films have always been offbeat but they have had mainstream actors doing the lead roles. The director, who had earlier announced that his next project will have Nivin Pauly in the lead role, has now informed us that Indrajith has replaced Nivin in the film. The movie, titled Kaadu Pookkunna Neram will see Rima Kallingal too playing an important character, after Rani Padmini.However, Dr Biju says he cannot reveal the subject of the film right now. “I cannot say anything about their characters as it might reveal the subject, which is slightly sensational. Let’s just say it’s a human rights issue, set against the backdrop of the forests,” says Dr Biju. Dr Biju’s previous film was a docu-fiction — Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal — centred on the endosulphan issue. It had Kunchacko Boban playing the lead character. His Perariyathavar showcased the lives of garbage collectors and also won a Best Actor’s National Award for Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Shoot for Kaadu Pookkunna Neram will start in February.
