Ineya to reprise Remya Nambeesan’s role once more

After playing Remya’s part in the Tamil remake of Traffic, Ineya will next step into the former’s shoes in the remake of Chappa Kurishu.
Ineya to reprise Remya Nambeesan’s role once more
This Malayali girl has of late been busy doing roles which are the Tamil remakes of Malayalam films. After playing a wife who cheats on her husband in 'Chennail Oru Naal', the Tamil remake of 'Traffic', actress Ineya will next be seen in the Tamil remake of 'Chappa Kurishu'.
Interestingly, while she brought to life actress Remya Nambeesan’s role in Traffic in Chennail Oru Naal, Ineya will yet again play Remya’s role in Chappa Kurishu, which goes to K’wood as Pulivaal.
1x1 polls
“Pure co-incidence,” the actress tells us, adding, “While I’ll be reprising Remya’s role a second time, actor Prasanna, whose heroine I was in Chennaiyil Oru Naal, will be my jodi in Pulivaal too.”
While Remya’s liplock with Fahadh Faasil in Chaappa Kurishu was in the eye of a controversy around the time the film released, quiz Ineya — who herself courted trouble for her liplock with Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj in the Tamil film Ammavin Kaipesi — says, “I strongly feel that a film or an actor cannot be judged with a single scene as the yardstick. Maybe, the fact that an actress like me — who has so far been seen in village belle roles — dared to go bold is what led my scene in the film to be the topic of debate.”
The actress further adds, “Pulivaalwill not be a scene by scene remake of Chappa Kurishu. For, the factors that appeal to the Malayali and Tamil film-going crowd is different, despite the two audiences having common interests in the kind of films they appreciate. So while the basic thread will be retained, the way the film will be panned is bound to be different.”
