Indu Lakshmi’s directorial ‘Nila’s trailer promises a suspense drama

Ace actress Shanthi Krishna will be unveiling her acting prowess with the upcoming film ‘Nila’ which is helmed by the debutant Indu Lakshmi and the recently released trailer promises an intriguing mystery drama.

Shanthi Krishna plays an old bed-ridden woman who is suspecting the presence of a mysterious person around and the actor Vineeth’s character seems to be baffled by his mother’s suspicions. The trailer draws a perfect line between what is real and what is not. Late actor Mamukkoya will be also playing a significant role in the movie.

The film portrays the poignant tale of hope, resilience, and the unyielding strength of sisterhood, and the expectations are quite high among the audiences as ‘Nila’ is all set to hit the big screens on August 4 this year.

Helmed by the debutant Indu Lakshmi, ‘Nila’s visuals are captured by Rakesh Dharan. Appu N Bhattathiri and Shaijas KM will be in charge of the editing section of ‘Nila’ and the music and background score will be composed by Bijibal. The director Indu Lakshmi will be penning the lyrics for the songs in ‘Nila’. The movie also features the actors Madupal and Mini IG in significant roles.
