Director Anzar Khan's upcoming film Lakshyam could be the thriller that many in the audience have been expecting from its scriptwriter Jeethu Joseph since the latter's blockbuster Drishyam. The film has

Indrajith

and Biju Menon in the lead roles of convicts who are being transported from Peermade to Ernakulam.

The director now tells us the background of these characters. 'Indrajith plays an IT professional named Vimal while Biju Menon essays Musthafa, who is a slum dweller,' says Anzar. 'The movie will shuffle between the past and the present and so the characters will have changes in their looks as well.'
The movie, which is set to go on floors in November, has an extensive schedule in the wild as the story is primarily about the two characters and their journey inside a forest. The locations of the movie include Kochi, Kannur and Athirappilly. The movie also has Sshivada in a pivotal role.

Lakshyam is based on Anzar's State Award winning telefilm Mukhamukham. 'Jeethu has been very much involved in the project from the start,' says the director adding that the duo has been working on the script for the last two years.

Meanwhile, Indrajith is currently busy with the filming of Jiyen Krishnakumar's Tiyaan. The socio-political thriller, scripted by Murali Gopy, also has Prithviraj, Padmapriya and Rahul Madhav in important roles.
