Rumours are rife that director Aashiq Abu is planning to helm a movie based on the life of late actor Jayan and has roped in Indrajith
for the same.
While the actor remained non-committal about the news when we reached out for confirmation, a source close to him says there were discussions between the Idukki Gold director and Indrajith about the movie.
'It's true that Indrajith was asked to play the role of Jayan in the movie and he has given the nod too. However, the project will go on floors only next year as it's still in the preliminary stages,' the source explains.
Indrajith is currently filming Dr Biju's Kaadu Pookkunna Neram, in which he plays a police constable. The movie has Rima Kallingal as the female lead.
