Madonna starrer Iblis is in theatres today and the film smells of freshness, thanks to the element of newness in all the frames till the interval. It's the tale of a little village that's cursed with out-of-the-blue deaths, the lives of the spirited villagers and moreover, Vysakhan and Fida.
The film's storytelling is magical and reminds you of the multi-coloured pages from a kids’ bedtime book. It circumvents any predictability from seeping into the plot and frequently makes use of interesting, out-of-the-ordinary short scenes to take the story forward.
The narrative goes back and forth, but that isn't wearisome.
