Asif Ali and Madonna starrer Iblis is in theatres today and the film smells of freshness, thanks to the element of newness in all the frames till the interval. It's the tale of a little village that's cursed with out-of-the-blue deaths, the lives of the spirited villagers and moreover, Vysakhan and Fida.

The film's storytelling is magical and reminds you of the multi-coloured pages from a kids’ bedtime book. It circumvents any predictability from seeping into the plot and frequently makes use of interesting, out-of-the-ordinary short scenes to take the story forward.

The narrative goes back and forth, but that isn't wearisome.
