and her husband-to-be Ashwin Philip exchanged engagement vows of being together forever. The betrothal ceremony was held at St Thomas Cathedral in Pala, yesterday. As per the sources, it was a close-knit ceremony in the presence of only a few family members from both sides.

The gorgeous Miya George was wearing a stunning onion pink shimmery lehenga and she accessorized the look with a simple layered precious stone necklace and matching earrings. Miya looked no less than a princess and her fiancé Ashwin Philip was decked up in a mint green suit and black trousers. According to the sources, the function started off around noon and was carried out following all the COVID-19 restrictions.

Meanwhile, Miya’s fiancé Ashwin Philip is a businessman and the wedding was arranged. A couple of months ago, their family arranged an engagement ceremony and it is expected that the wedding will take place in a month.

Miya George is one of the popular stars in Mollywood. She is best known for her performances in movies like ‘Vishudhan’, ‘Hi I'm Tony’, 'Salaam Kashmir', 'Anarkali', and 'Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal’ among others.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Miya’s recent release was ‘Driving License’. Miya essayed one of the leading ladies in the movie. She played Elsa Kuruvila, the wife of Kuruvila Joseph (Suraj Venjaramoodu), a vehicle inspector in the film. Her impressive performance and comic timing were highly appreciated by the audience. The diva will be next seen co-starring with Kalidas Jayaram.
