From ‘Bilal’ to ‘Empuraan’, Mollywood sequels that we are looking forward to this year

Today most of the audience is looking forward to seeing those films that are content-oriented and as a result, the scope of contents has really expanded as to the character design, scope of story-telling, etc. So limiting these contents which have wider potential to a 2-hour film won't be doing justice. This is where sequels come into play. In Malayalam cinema, there have been several successful sequels in the past such as ‘Mannar Mathai Speaking’, ‘2 Harihar Nagar’ and the recent movie ‘Aadu 2’. Here let's take a look at some of the sequels that we are all looking forward to in 2022.
