Mollywood’s young superstar Dulquer Salmaan is on a successful journey as his Telugu romantic drama ‘Sita Ramam’ has earned it big at the box office coupled with several praises for the movie. Now the actor has announced that his Malayalam action drama film ‘Kurup’ has made a total business of Rs 112 crores and the film was sold on a popular OTT platform for a record amount.
Dulquer Salmaan took to his official Facebook handle to announce that his film ‘Kurup has made a total business of Rs 112 crores including the film being sold to a popular OTT platform for a whopping amount. Although the streaming date for the Dulquer Salmaan starrer is yet to be announced, ‘Kurup’ will be out on a popular OTT platform in four different languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.”

Dulquer Salmaan ended the Facebook note with a caption that read, “It is a record-breaking deal and that is a testimony to the love you all have given to the movie. Deeply humbled and forever grateful.”
Earlier it was officially announced that the ‘Kurup’ director Sreenath Rajendran will be once again teaming up with Dulquer Salmaan for ‘Alexander’ which is said to have relations with ‘Kurup’ and not necessarily a sequel. Dulquer will be reportedly donning the same look he had in ‘Kurup’s climax sequence in the upcoming movie ‘Alexander’ and further details about the same are yet to be announced soon by the makers.
On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan has several highly ambitious projects in the pipeline including the movies ‘King of Kotha’, and ‘Othiram Kadakam’.
