Actor Dileep's next project is 'Parakkum Pappan'. The actor announced his project through his social media handle. The actor shared a poster announcing the film. The team has given a tagline, 'a local super hero' which suggests that the movie is a comedy thriller having a 'desi hero' in it.

Actor Dileep is currently working with B. Unnikrishnan's project 'Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakkeel.' 'Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakkeel' will see Dileep play the title role of an advocate. Mamtha Mohandas and Priya Anand will play the female leads in the movie. Even though there was a lot of pressure on B. Unnikrishnan from the industry for making a movie with Dileep, who is accused in an abduction and rape case, the former didn't drop the project. Being the director of FEFKA, B. Unnikrishnan had great hurdles before him to commit this project.
