Birthday special: Kathanar team unveils first glimpse of Prabhu Deva’s character

On his 51st birthday, celebrated actor, choreographer, and director Prabhu Deva received a special tribute from the team behind the Malayalam fantasy drama, 'Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer.'

Currently immersed in the production of this grand project directed by Rojin Thomas, Prabhu Deva marks his return to Malayalam cinema after a decade since his last appearance in the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer 'Urumi' .


The Kathanar team commemorated Prabhu Deva's special day by unveiling the first look of his character, sparking intrigue and excitement among fans. The first-look poster showcases Prabhu Deva in the role of a medieval gypsy, hinting at a potential magician's portrayal within the intricate world of 'Kathanar.'

Jayasurya takes on the role of a priest with proficiency in black magic, while Anushka Shetty steps into the character of a 'Yakshi'. The expectations are quite high for the fantasy drama film 'Kathanar'. The trailer unveiled by the makers received good responses from the audiences.
