Bhavana and Rahman starrer film goes on floors

Actors Bhavana Menon and Rahman are teaming up for a film. The yet-to-be-titled film went on floors on Monday (Apr 17). The team kickstarted the project with a muhurat puja followed by a switch on ceremony, which was held at Chottanikkara, Kerala.

The film will be directed by debutant Riyas Marath. The team will be announcing the film’s title on the occasion of Eid.

Lead actors Bhavana Menon and Rahman were present at the puja ceremony along with the other cast and crew. Besides Bhavana and Rahman, the film also has actors Binu Pappu, Drishya and Shebin Benson in some pivotal roles.

Ernakulam, Pondicherry, Kodaikanal, Vagamon, and Pollachi are said to be the major locations of the film.

On the technical front, Sujith Sarang has roped in as the cinematographer, and Kiran Das is the editor. Newcomer Dabzee will be composing the music for the film. The costumes will be designed by Sameera Saneesh, and the art department is taken care by Arun Jose. The makeup will be done by Amal Chandran and Pranav Raj is the project designer.

Meanwhile, Bhavana Menon recently made her second innings in Malayalam with ‘Ntikkakkakkoru Premondarnn’. She will also be headlining the upcoming Shaji Kailas directorial ‘Hunt’.

On the other hand, Rahman is currently awaiting the release of ‘Ponniyin Selvan: 2’.
