Basil Joseph - Tovino Thomas’ ‘Marana Mass’ starts rolling

Tovino Thomas is taking on a new role as a producer for the upcoming film 'Marana Mass,' starring the talented Basil Joseph in the lead. The much-anticipated movie has officially begun filming, with the first location set in the bustling area of Mattancherry, Ernakulam.

The initial scenes were shot at the Commercial Tax Office in Mattancherry, featuring actors Rajesh Madhavan and several other co-stars.

Directed by Sivaprasad, 'Marana Mass' promises to be an exciting project, bringing together a stellar cast and crew.

Earlier Tovino Thomas himself revealed the film's unique title and the engaging first-look poster through a social media post. He wrote, “‘MaranaMass’ ’മരണമാസ്സ്‌’ *Not a mass padam!!! The story of 'Marana Mass' is crafted by Siju Sunny, who is also collaborating with director Sivaprasad to write the script and dialogues. The film's visual storytelling will be captured by cinematographer Neeraj Revi, while the editing will be handled by Chaman Chakko. The costumes for the film will be designed by Mashar Hamsa, and the makeup department is headed by RG Wayanadan. Vishnu Govind will be responsible for sound design and mixing.

The music is composed by Jay Unnithan, with lyrics penned by Mu. Ri.
