‘Athiradi’: Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character poster sparks curiosity; THIRD face of the film revealed

After revealing Basil Joseph and Tovino Thomas’ character posters, the makers of ‘Athiradi’ have unveiled Vineeth Sreenivasan’s. On Sunday, February 1, they dropped Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character poster. In the poster, Vineeth Sreenivasan is seen wearing a red shirt and a white dhoti and waving at the crowd. Though the makers unveiled the character poster, they didn’t disclose the character's name. This has sparked the curiosity of movie buffs and fans alike, with many wondering if Vineeth Sreenivasan is appearing as himself in the film.

What you should know about ‘Athiradi’?

‘Athiradi’ helmed by Arun Anirudhan, is set to hit the big screens on May 14. The director has previously co-scripted Tovino Thomas’ superhero film ‘Minnal Murali’. He is co-writing the script of ‘Athiradi’, with Paulson Skaria, known for the Mammootty starrer ‘Kaathal - The Core’.

The upcoming film is touted to be a campus-based actioner. Starring Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, and Vineeth Sreenivasan, the film is expected to be an out-and-out entertainer. Actors Darshana Rajendran, Zarin Shihab, and Riya Shibu are also part of the cast. In the film, Basil Joseph plays the role of Samkutty aka Sam Boy, a college-going youngster, while Tovino Thomas will essay the role of Sreekuttan Vellayani. The teaser of the film was launched earlier, which hinted that the film will be high on action.

On the technical front, the cinematography for the film is done by Samuel Henry and edited by Chaman Chakko. The film has music by Vishnu Vijay.
